History

1928-B:43 Double. 8.7 (by Directors’ vote). Pink, flushed carmine.

1928-B-d:115 Double type; large; late. A flower of heavy substance, with large, incurved outer petals, surrounding a compact, globular center; light shell-pink with an old-rose tint in the center and fades lighter quickly; some center petals edged maroon; clean, fresh fragrance. Strong stems. The originator describes it as silvery pink flushed carmine. The above description was made from direct observation. Some growers consider it too small, and object to its heavy stems and scant foliage.

1933-Sup:06 Double. 8.47 (Sym. 1933).

1935-B060:11 8.47. Lacti. Double. Late midseason. Pink. Medium tall with fine stems and rather scant foliage, flowers of medium size with a very beautiful coloring of shell pink tinted rose-pink. It frequently displays all the bad habits of Solange. When it performs well it is a very fine flower.

1976-K:057 (Dessert, 1922) – Double – Pink – Late. Fresh fragrance. Large. A flower of heavy substance, with large, incurved outer petals, surrounding a compact, globular center; light shell-pink with an old-rose tint in the center and fades quickly; some center petals edged maroon; clean, fresh fragrance. Strong stems. Some growers consider it too small, and object to its heavy stems and scant foliage. M.
