1916-Farr:25 Large, globular, rose type. Guards milk-white, slight collar cream-white, but petals of all sizes, intermingled on first opening, delicately shaded salmon. Fragrance XX. Medium height, very early. Though one of the oldest varieties, it ranks among the best, and the true stock is scarce. $1.50.

Tall; very floriferous; weak stems. Heavy dark foliage. Variously described as rose, bomb, and crown type, and at certain stages it may be considered any one. It finishes with a distinct tuft in the center. One of the very earliest white varieties and valued for cut-flowers on that account. “Very large cream-white. Stems a little weak.
