Student-driven impact at its best! When the Campus

Student-driven impact at its best! When the Campus Farm was founded, its mission went beyond being just a source of food - it was envisioned as a space where students could cultivate leadership skills and engage in impactful, hands-on experiences through food grown by students, for students. This commitment to leadership and impact shines in Campus Farm's collaboration with the Maize and Blue Cupboard, where fresh, locally grown produce is provided to students in need.

One such student leader is Ivy Muench (she/her), a dual major in Earth and Environmental Science and Program in the Environment, who is playing an instrumental role in the most recent iteration of this partnership. Ivy embodies the spirit of change-makers at the @uofmichigan, driven by her passion for food justice and sustainability.

The work is far from over but we're making steady

The work is far from over but we're making steady progress with cleanup at Nichols Arboretum following the devastating August storms that left more than 100 mature trees in disarray.

While the loss was significant, we are making strides in our cleanup efforts. This progress is thanks to the unwavering dedication of our team and the incredible support from our community. The loss of these trees signifies a poignant chapter in our history, and it presents an opportunity to write a new narrative — one of renewal and growth.

Nichols Arboretum has long been a sanctuary of tranquility and a source of solace for many. Our commitment remains steadfast in restoring it to its full glory while preserving its essence as a place of peace and rejuvenation.
